Building, Pest and New Home (Construction) stage inspectors in Melbourne must comply with iSPECT Building Inspections code of conduct.
Each building and pest inspector employed is required to comply with the Victorian Building Act of 1993.

iSPECT Building Inspections inspectors must:

  • Hold a current building trade qualification, or industry equivalent;
  • Be able to prove 10 years building and construction experience;
  • A working knowledge of their relevant state building code Building Act 1993 and of the National Standards;
  • Received nationally accredited training from various registered training organisations, specifically pest inspection licences.
